Artwork Honoring Our History

Hello, I’m

Danica Factor

When I began my therapeutic art journey a number of years ago, I realized society often creates untrue and harmful narratives of women, past and present.  These harmful narratives become our own internal voice and hold us back from becoming our authentic selves.

In my work, utilizing vintage papers of women from 1890s - 1950’s, woven throughout vibrant florals, I challenge society’s narrative of women past and present creating a more complete story full of JOY, HEALING & CELEBRATION.

A woman with shoulder-length red hair, blue eyes, and a light green top, smiling, wearing earrings and a delicate necklace, against a white background.

“The only way we can see our own beauty is to remove the lens others have placed upon us and past generations.”

The image shows a light purple background with the text "Danica Factor" written in white cursive font.
