Additional Meet-up: Create & Paint a Flower Bouquet
During this super fun meet-up, we will creating a flower bouquet in a vase with instruction from a local flower farmer, Amy Henkel. Afterwards, we will then paint our creation on a 8” x 10” canvas with instruction provided by Danica Factor.
Disco Dolls
During this super fun meet-up, we will be bringing goodies from our garden and doing a swap! Afterwards we will make seed packets and our guest, Amy Henkel, will be teaching us about growing flowers.
Art Skills Class
For this month’s Art Skills class, we will continue our garden theme and paint veggies and fruits from the garden in a beautiful floral bowl. Below are the supplies needed for the this class.
Art Supplies
Canvas or canvas board 8” x 10”
Cup of water
Paper towel
Paint Brushes - Large 1 inch brush and a 3/8 inch brush (diagonal cut hairs on the brush are best for the 3/8 inch)
Acrylic Paints - An array of colors of that you love, but at minimum you will need blue, red, yellow, green and white. (Liquitex Basics or Amsterdam Basics are great for this activity. It is recommended to not use Flow Acrylics or Heavy Body for this activities as these will take too long to dry)
Acrylic Pens or Sharpies (any colors)
A couple pieces of white paper
If you love metallic paints - feel free to also bring Golden Deep Fine Gold or Golden Fine Silver.

Garden Swap & Art Party!

Art Skills Class
During this month’s Art Skills Class, we will be celebrating peony season, by painting them on a small canvas. This class will be a gentle introduction to painting flowers and learning how to let your intuition guide you!
Supplies:
A small painting canvas (preferably 12” x 12” or smaller)
Acrylic Paints (bring a a range of colors to this session, but at a minimum you will need red, green, white, blue and yellow)
Sharpies or any other type of Acrylic Pens
Water cup
Paper plate or paint palette
Paper towel

Create Large Heart Magnets
Create a large heart magnet with acrylic paint and collaged papers.

Celebrating Our Lands Painting
During this fun group get together, we will use acrylic paint on canvas to pay homage to the beautiful lands of Idaho. We will discuss acrylic painting techniques and how to create shadows with color theory.
