The Boise Women’s Art Group is a monthly, in-person gathering created for women who want a welcoming, supportive space to explore creativity, connection, and self-expression through art. No pressure. No judgment.

Drop-in for one meet-up or join our monthly membership. Let’s create something meaningful together!

Each month, our group will get together for a guided and thoughtfully designed art project that blends creativity, skill-building, and personal expression. We’ll explore a variety of mediums including; painting, mixed media, collage, watercolor, and other creative practices.

Whether you’re brand new to art, returning to it after years away, or have a vast amount of experience, you are welcome here.

This group is about process over product, curiosity over comparison, and showing up exactly as you are!

Create. Connect. Community.

About Your Host

Hi, I’m Danica. 👋
I’m an artist based in Boise, Idaho, and I love books, vintage papers, antiques, and the stories women carry—especially the ones that were never fully told.

My art journey began in 2018 after returning to the area where I grew up. Being back stirred up old memories, and as a new mother navigating anxiety and depression, I turned to a daily art practice as a way to process and heal. Through painting, I began to recognize how deeply society’s expectations of women can shape untrue and harmful inner narratives.

I started the Boise Women’s Art Group because I wanted to create the kind of space I once needed—a place for women to reconnect with themselves through art, celebrate who they are and who they’re becoming, and do it all in a supportive, judgment-free community with other women.
