  • Hi, I’m Danica. 👋
I’m an artist based in Boise, Idaho, and I love books, vintage papers, antiques, and the stories women carry—especially the ones that were never fully told.

My art journey began in 2018 after returning to the area where I grew up. Being back stirred up old memories, and as a new mother navigating anxiety and depression, I turned to a daily art practice as a way to process and heal. Through painting, I began to recognize how deeply society’s expectations of women can shape untrue and harmful inner narratives.

I started the Boise Women’s Art Group because I wanted to create the kind of space I once needed—a place for women to reconnect with themselves through art, celebrate who they are and who they’re becoming, and do it all in a supportive, judgment-free community with other women.
