During our monthly Zoom Art Skill Class, we be creating collaged paper flowers in a vase. We will paint flowers onto papers, cut them out and then arrange them onto another piece of paper. If you want to see the inspiration to our time together and the technique, here is a fun video as an example: here.
In this class, you will learn color mixing and shadow work with acrylic paints.
Art Supplies
6 pieces of 120lb or greater mixed media or acrylic paper
Scissors
Stick or Liquitex Matte Medium
Cup of water
Paper towel
Paint Brushes - Large 1 inch brush and a 3/8 inch brush (diagonal cut hairs on the brush are best for the 3/8 inch)
Acrylic Paints - An array of colors of that you love, but at minimum you will need blue, red, yellow, green, white and black. (Liquitex Basics or Amsterdam Basics are great for this activity. It is recommended to not use Flow Acrylics or Heavy Body for this activities as these will take too long to dry)
