In this monthly members online Art Skills Class, we will explore color, with a focus on creating luscious colors through color mixing and how to create neutrals and shadows in our art (hint: we don’t add black).
For this class you will need:
8” x 10” canvas board or canvas (Quality Art, Michaels, Hobby Lobby or Black canvases work)
Acrylic paint (Primary colors required - red, yellow, blue, white, black. Plan to bring any other of your favorite colors you have as well (I will be using Liquitex Basics and Amsterdam Acrylic paint for our class).
Cup of Water
Paint Brushes (any sizes will work - I’ll be using a 3/8” angular Princeton, a 1/4” angular Princeton and a 3/4” straight edge Princeton)
Paper Towel
Paper Plate or Palette Paper
1-2 pieces of white paper or your art journal
A Zoom link for our class will be sent out to Monthly Subscribers at the beginning of the month and the day before the class. Recorded sessions will be sent out the following day, in case you missed the session.
