During this art skill class we’ll be making paper birds with painted abstract paper. We will first paint our papers with a bunch of different marks and then cut them out to paste together a paper bird.

Supplies:

• 140lb paper or heavier

• Acrylic, gouche or watercolor paints

• Acrylic pens, sharpies or markers

• Scissors

• Pencil

• Glue

• Water dish

• Palette

• Paper towel

Other Supplies (not required, but you might like to use them if you have them)

• Metalic paints (if you have them, but not required)

• Oil pastels (if you have them, but not required)

• Ribbon
