"A Day Away" : Original Art

$475.00

When I was a kid, every year my parents would take my sister and I to northern Minnesota to see extended family. My uncle and cousins would take us fishing for walleye or netting sunnies off the dock. During these times, I would often overhear my uncle sharing stories of hunting or ice fishing. Living a life so entwined with nature seemed such a marvel to me.

This piece was an imagining of how a day out with my uncle would be, his dog Scrapper following close behind.

DETAILS:

  • 20” x 20” x 1.5”

  • Acrylic paint on wood with vintage ribbons and lace on the sides.

  • Vintage papers collaged into the piece from a 1952 Buick car advertisement.

FREE delivery for orders placed within the Treasure Valley area (60 miles from Boise). Email danica@danicafactorart.com for free delivery before purchasing.
