Garden Swap & Art Party!
The garden is blooming and we are throwing a party to celebrate. During this month’s gathering, the Boise Women’s Art Group will be doing a garden swap and creating our own seed packets all while enjoying snacks, mock-tails and uplifting music.
The Boise Women's Art Group is created for women who want a welcoming, supportive space to explore creativity, connection, and self-expression through art. No pressure. No judgment. Come as you are!
DATE: July 9, 2026
TIME: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
COST: $39.00 per person
LOCATION: Art Source Gallery, 1516 W Grove Street, Boise, Idaho
DETAILS:
Come meet your community with a garden swap and in-person guided art project with an amazing group of women.
Bring any items from your gardens you would like to share with the group including; veggies, fruits or flowers. If you don’t have a garden, you are still welcome to the gathering and to share in what others bring!
Create fun and beautiful seed packets with paints, pens and other art materials.
All materials for the art project are included.
Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks provided.

THIS MONTH’S GUEST:
This month we will have Amy Henkel as our guest helping lead us through our art activity of creating seed packets. Amy is a local farmer who grows beautiful flowers and an amazing lettuce garden. She will be giving some tips and tricks for creating a stunning garden and how to use seeds as well.
YOUR HOST:
Danica Factor is a local artist based in the Boise area. Her artist journey began in 2018. She started an art practice as a way to heal from childhood emotional trauma and found a deep love for creativity and helping others find their way back to themselves through art.
Danica has showcased her work at a number of art shows in Idaho and is a member of the Art Source Gallery. Her work has also been featured in Arts to Hearts Magazine, Art & Soul of the Magic Valley, the local Channel 7 News and shown at countless exhibits across the state.
